Over 600 people attend The Purbeck School Science Fair
On Saturday 16th March The Purbeck School held it’s first Science Fair since the pandemic. This community event, put on by the school for the local community, was a huge hit.
The school hosted around 20 different exhibitors, including our very own Purbeck School science staff and students. Fun and interactivity was the order of the day, whether it was seeing a drinks can implode, or finding the fossil! The 360 degree Science Dome was also present, showing 2 films: one on the Universe, and one on Dinosaurs. In all, over 600 people from the local community attended. Can we thank all of the exhibitors who attended, all of the Science school staff who gave up their Saturday, and all of our wonderful students who were demonstrating experiments and represented the school so brilliantly. Can we also thank those that sponsored the event, which allowed it to be free to all.
