UKMT Junior Maths Challenge 2024
The results are in!
Earlier this term, 107 Year 7 and 8 students completed the Junior Maths Challenge paper organised by the UK Maths Trust. The papers are designed to stimulate mathematical problem solving, encourage learners to think outside-the-box and apply mathematical skills learnt in lessons to sophisticated conundrums.
A special mention goes to Michal Orszulak, who was awarded Best In School, and Henry Wright, who also achieved a Gold certificate. Rosabelle Williams-Hall, was awarded Best In Year 7 and achieved a Silver certificate, along with thirteen other students. Another thirty-four students achieved Bronze certificates. Congratulations to all of the students who took part, an excellent effort was made by all!
