Student voice this year has requested a relaunch of house competitions.  The student council met with their tutor groups, shared ideas and came up with some great suggestions of potential house competitions throughout next year.

Please see below for some of their thoughts:

• Students would like either 2 or 3 competitions each half term
• They would like the competitions to be linked to either different subjects or national themes / awareness days.
• Students would like the competitions to be linked to the new praise and reward system
• They would like competitions to involve fundraising for local charities
• Students would like the 6^th form student leadership team to be involved in supporting with the competitions.

Mrs Watson has taken all the house competition ideas and will work with the 6^th form House Competitions to produce a calendar for next year.

The student council will meet again before the end of the term to finalise a competition plan for next year.
