Year 10 Netball

The girls faced their second round of competition this week. Their opposition was formidable, and tonight they had a tough draw.  Undeterred, they came out with a positive mindset, and despite being against an all boys team, who had height on the side, they were no match against us, and the girls won against St Edwards boys 8 v 4.

Buzzing after this win the girls next challenge was Parkstone Grammar A. Sadly, the girls couldn’t compete with the swiftness of passes moving down court, and this was the first defeat of the evening. The next game they faced St Edwards A, and although they played some nice flowing netball, again they were defeated, and suffered an injury.

The last game, however they showed flair and determination, Evie and Zoe’s defence was solid, making it difficult for the opposition to shoot or get any rebounds , they beat Ferndown 7v2. It was so lovely to see them all worked together, Donika and Daisy did some lovely high feeds into Sophia for her to pop it in the net, a great team effort, well done!!!
