Well done to Year 13!

Huge congratulations to all our Year 13 students who have received their A level grades today.

It has certainly been a year like no other in terms of how the grades have been awarded. Exam boards have used an algorithm based on previous results alongside the grades put through by school teachers.

The vast majority of students have gained the grades that they require to go to the University of their choice or onto an apprenticeship.

Many students have been offered places at prestigious Universities. Two students Daisy Tozer and Oscar Williams have accepted offers from Cambridge and Oxford University respectively.

Some students have received exceptional results:

Maddison Wainwright – A*A*A*
Tyler Gauntlett – D*D*D*
Dylan Ross – D*D*D*
Aaron Harvey – D*D*A
Oscar Williams – A*AAA
Daisy Tozer – A*AA
Michael Hall – A*AB
Harry Hewitt – D*DD

Headteacher Mr Darley said:
‘We are delighted that so many of our students have gained what they needed to move on either to University or an apprenticeship. Our students should be very proud of their achievements and there are some stunning individual results. Well done to the whole year group.’
