This page is to recognise the fantastic learning that students at The Purbeck School have been completing during the ‘Lockdown’ period. If you have produced an excellent piece of work, put in exceptional effort, or gone ‘above and beyond’ we want you to be recognised. Therefore, your name will appear on this wall, with the reason behind the posting – we will update the wall on a weekly basis. Once your name is on the wall you will be entered for a weekly draw where you could win the ‘Lockdown learner of the week’ and be sent a £10 voucher. Good luck and keep learning.

James Harding, Y7 – Fantastic homemade chicken Goujons with all the trimmings for Food Tech practical work.

Jessica Lee, Y7 – Cryptography work completed to great standard.

Daisy Pipe, Y7 – Excellent poster about the Enigma Machine for ICT and outstanding French work & showing huge commitment!

Leon Randall, Y7 – Very good French work, always on time!

Eleanor Ranger, Y7 – Creating rocket mice for Science and sharing their videos.

Flo Whiting, Y7 – Completing all cryptography tasks for ICT, including extension.

Amelia Eite, Y8 – Amelia used her DT skills to create a wooden bird box for her garden, now happily hung in a tree. I have asked her to keep me updated if any birds move in.

William Hobbs, Y8 – William has written a fantastic piece of poetry titled March Morning. William has really focused on the content of this poem and has made it incredibly relevant for our current situation.

Tonia Lamenyuy, Y8 – Excellent completion of Networks presentation.

Natalia Nowosad, Y8 – Excellent work on the impact of the  Industrial Revolution for History.

Poppy Pipe, Y8 – Completed Loads of handwritten work on Types of Networks – Showing excellent commitment!

Sophie Rowles, Y8 – Produced a superb brochure on the most famous Sikh gurdwara, the Golden Temple for RE.

Isaac Shepherd, Y8 – Detailed and accurate piece of work for Product Design, demonstrating a good understanding of materials and ergonomics.

Freddie Sills, Y8 – Outstanding French work & showing huge commitment!

Joshua Suttle, Y8 – For showing resilience and perseverance and redoing his PRE work on the Sikh Golden Temple when his work did not save on teams. Well done Josh.
