The Purbeck School Sixth Form Charity Day
Today saw our Sixth Form students dress up in fancy dress for their annual fundraising event, which raises money for good causes. The students entertained the residents and shopkeepers in Wareham Town Centre as well as students and teachers at the school.
We would like to thank all of the fantastic people of Wareham, and our own students and teachers, who gave so generously to lumberjacks; ten pin bowls; army cadets; and the Spice Girls, to name a few (pictures below).
The good causes, include, Young Minds, Naomi House, Margaret Green (Animal Rescue), and the Alzheimer’s Society – they will benefit hugely from these kind donations – in all £933 has been raised – thank you!
The Sixth Form team would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
