The Purbeck School: providing a little hope

Over the last three weeks, students, parents and staff have been donating chocolate selection boxes, with the collection being given to the local charity Hope for Food. As well as offering warm food and clothing at their twice weekly ‘Community Meals’ throughout the year, Hope for Food provide Christmas hampers for those in need, and the chocolate boxes are an addition to other festive fare. Assistant Headteacher Simon Holmes said, ‘It’s wrong that so many people are currently experiencing financial hardship: no family should be without, at all times, especially at Christmas. We are proud to once again lend a hand’. Great work, Purbeck community!
