The Purbeck School is entered for Britain in Bloom

This week the Wareham in Bloom team visited the Purbeck School to inspect the school allotment and garden space. This previously derelict area of the school has been transformed into a stunning garden space and vegetable patch by a number of students working on the ‘I have never’ project. The students have been guided by ‘expert’ gardeners Mr Hopwood and Mr Woollard. The Wareham in Bloom team were so impressed by what they saw they have put the school forward to be in the Britain in Bloom competition.

A delighted Mr Hopwood said ‘we are so proud of the students that have worked on this project, they really have put their heart and soul into the garden area and they have created something really special that the judges recognised.’
