The Purbeck school Alumni
On Wednesday 14th October we were delighted that one of our ex students Keren Austria came into school to meet a group of budding Law students and discussed her pathway into Law. She talked to the students about the different pathways available and well as explaining her journey to where she is now. Keren offered to help any students who would like to apply for work experience or wanted some further information.
“Meeting Keren was very informative and interesting – she was inspirational! She talked about her journey into law but also made me realise that sometimes things don’t always go as expected and you have to embrace this, be flexible and keep striving forward” Maya Pacyna
“I studied BA Geography at King’s College London. In my final year, I managed to secure a training contract at an international law firm called CMS LLP after successful completion of their vacation scheme; I am due to start working in their London office in 2023. From 2021, I will be studying the law conversion course (GDL) and legal practice course (LPC MSc) at the University of Law in London – all covered by the firm, which is great! I am very excited about this new chapter, and I know I would not have got to this position without the support I received from everyone at the Purbeck School.”
