Thank you for your support

Dear Parent/Carer ,

I would like to write and say a huge ‘thank you’ to you all for supporting the school and the students at this difficult time.

We do not know when we will be fully opening our doors again, but we are here, and available to you if you have any questions that you think we may be able to help you with. We will continue to be a safeguarding hub for the children of this area and continue to support where we can during this time of national response.

In terms of education the school is continuing to provide lessons through the ‘Teams’ system – a help guide can be found on the school website

There is also a wealth of information on the school website with regards to wellbeing including information about foodbanks – this can be found in the Information section of the website under ‘Wellbeing’.

This has been a very difficult time for all of our students and I wanted to thank them for the mature and considered manner that they have shown in school in the past two weeks. It has been particularly uncertain for our year 11 and 13 students – they should be very proud of themselves for the way that they have dealt with the situation. Can I also thank parents who have been in touch to thank staff – it has been very much appreciated.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

Yours sincerely,

Adam Darley
