On Tuesday 22nd October, 15 students from both year 9 and 10, travelled to The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) in Milton Keynes. It was quite a journey, but well worth it, as when we arrived, we launched straight into the first of two our workshops.

The beginning of March saw four Key Stage 3 students travelling to The Bishop of Winchester Academy in Bournemouth to take part in the UK Mathematics Trust Intermediate Team Challenge. After multiple Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates were awarded to individuals for the UKMT Intermediate Challenge
Each year over 6 million students from over 50 countries take part in competitions organised by the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT). The papers are designed to promote and stimulate interest in mathematics within and beyond the classroom; an example of the questions can be seen below.
