Picture of Rwanda - BBC Solent Thumb Run to Rwanda Non-Uniform & Fundraising Day – Friday 25th June (23 June 2021) - On Friday the 25th of June, Purbeck’s Run to Rwanda event is coming to an end with a non-uniform day and fundraising activities. Donations from everyone’s sponsored runs and walks will be collected and this will be combined with money collected during the day. Picture of Chemistry Webinar Thumb Focus on Organic Chemistry Webinar, with UEA and Nottingham University (22 June 2021) - 35 year 12 Chemistry students today took part in a webinar titled: Focus on Organic Chemistry, with UEA and Nottingham University. The interactive sessions focussed on combining delocalised aromatic ring systems (UEA) and self-assembly of organic molecules (Nottingham).  Both sessions enabled students to respond using online chat and also concluded with a brief synopsis of the chemistry, and chemistry related courses available at each university.

The days were to introduce students to the Sixth Form and start to bridge the gap between GCSE and A level/Level 3 BTEC/OCR National courses.
