Purbeck School students make a difference – A Climate Emergency is declared by Wareham Town Council
Wareham Town Council has voted unanimously to declare that there is a climate emergency after a letter was presented by Purbeck School students.
Students from The Purbeck School had been active in ensuring that the Town Council had all the evidence that it needed to make an informed opinion. A number of Purbeck School students presented a letter to the Town Council on Friday 25th October which highlighted some of the effects that climate change could have.
