Last Day for Donations – Hope for Food’s Appeal!
Like many other schools in Dorset, at The Purbeck School, we are supporting Hope for Food’s appeal for donations this autumn.
We are asking for every member of our school community (including students, staff and governors) to bring in one item.
In one week this October, every school will be able to donate at least 1,000 things that will help to make life better for people who are on the streets or living in poverty. We can make a difference.
From Monday 18th to Friday 22nd October please bring into school:
- Rice
- Tinned meat/fish
- Tinned vegetables
- Instant mash potatoes
- Pasta sauce
- Ketchup/mayonnaise
- Tinned pasta
- Jam/marmalade
- Cereal
- Soup (tinned or packet)
- Biscuits
- Squash
- Tea/coffee/hot chocolate
- Tinned fruit/rice pudding/custard
- Washing up liquid
- A roll on deodorant
- Pocket tissues
- Shampoo
Please only donate items that are ‘in date’
