Welcome to The Purbeck School!

Hello!

In more normal times, we would now be greeting Year 6 students and their parents at the door and welcoming you in to school. You would experience an exciting tour, see our excellent facilities and meet some of our enthusiastic students. Our highly-trained teachers would tell you about what it is like to be a Purbeck student of their subject, and we would explain our key values of ‘Respect, aspiration and perseverance’.

This isn’t possible this year, of course, but we have worked hard to create this virtual introduction to The Purbeck School.

How to apply

The Purbeck School has been oversubscribed for Year 7 places for the last two years, so in order to be guaranteed a place applying early is crucial. Please register your interest here and we will keep you updated with all information and events over the coming year.

You can apply online via https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/ from 1 September 2020. The closing date is 31 October 2020.
