On September 11th the Year 7 students embarked on the 4th annual residential trip to Hooke Court. As has been the case in previous years the students were exposed to some challenging team building activities that allowed them to build relationships with brand new tutor groups and their tutors themselves.
The activities of shelter building, bridging the mote, and raft building to name a few allowed students to demonstrate their abilities to work as a team, to show their leadership qualities and in what were some tough weather conditions at times show how resilient they could be.
In the evening students got to show off their talents in the traditional barn dance and the final night talent show.
The students did themselves and our school proud with the way they approached the three days away from home which for many can be a challenge at this age.
We would like to thank the Hooke Court staff whose tutorage and leading of activities was as ever outstanding, and for making our stay as comfortable as possible for our students.
Well done Year 7!
