Good luck to Amelie & Bethany

We are pleased to announce that Amelie Hambidge and Bethany Davies were asked to trial for the U18 GB handball squad on the 23rd of November and have just heard that both were successful and have been selected for the squad.

This is a fantastic achievement in the space of 3 years since they were introduced to handball here at Purbeck. The girls are both members of Poole Phoenix and already represent both Dorset and SouthWest. Amelie also represented England when selected to play in Denmark last year and both girls have already attended England training last month.

We wish them all the best on their journey.
