Final Arrangements for Year 11
Next Friday 13th May, we have our celebration assembly – the dress code for this day is smart, business wear. Students should wear something that would be appropriate for an interview. During the day, Mr McNaughton has kindly offered to take photographs that will be shared with the students via Teams. The day will involve normal lessons until the afternoon – the assembly will take place between 1.45pm and 3pm. Please remind your children to share photographs of special events from their time at Purbeck with us – via the area in Teams (I have sent them all an email) – that can then be shared, during the assembly. Students are welcome to bring in an old, school shirt, to be signed on the day and/or a notebook that they can record messages in from staff and their friends.
Leavers hoodies are being organised by Mr Hunt and more information will come out in due course with regards to this. There has been a slight delay due to a change in our finance systems.
I hope that all those that attend prom had a lovely time – staff at the venue commented on how well behaved and mature the children were at the event. It was a delightful evening and everyone looked fabulous. We are still awaiting the professional photographs, from Libra Photographic, as soon as these are available they will be distributed.
A reminder that the final day in school is June 10th – this is because most of the larger exams (such as English) will have finished by this point.
