Fantastic results confirmed at The Purbeck School
The DfE have now released the correct data for schools showing their Progress 8 score. This is a national measure that all schools are judged by.
The Purbeck School received a Progress 8 score of 0.35, this once again places the school amongst the top 25% of schools in the country and in the top 3 schools in the County. It is a fantastic achievement and testament to the hard work of the class of 2018/19 and all those involved with supporting their academic achievement.
Headteacher Adam Darley commented, ‘Well done to all those involved. We knew that the results last year’s Year 11 gained were excellent, and this validates it. The students worked so hard, as did the parents and teachers, and we are once again one of the very best schools in the region – we should all be very proud of achievements of our young people’
