Exceptional post-16 performance at The Purbeck School
The Purbeck School is delighted to report some outstanding achievements by its students in their A levels/level 3 qualifications.
Adam Darley, Headteacher commented “We are so proud of the students. This group of young people have had their sixth form education severely disrupted over the past two academic years. We are so pleased that their resilience, character, determination and hard work has been recognised by this fantastic set of results. We wish them all the very best for the future’.
Students have posted some exceptional results. Students receiving at least one A* or equivalent grade included, Lottie Wilde, Isobel Holmes, Sophie Campbell, Joe Mitchell, Evan Dando, Stacey Cole, Callum Way, George Tubbs, Sam Kaplan, Jude Moar, Ellie Stannard, Carly Burgess, Taylor Churchill, Lucy Ingram, Josh Stuckes, Isabella Vallier, Kennedy Yates, Lauren Hales, Gabriel Collington-Mears, Katie Fairless, Lauren Hales, Yasmin Jones, Tom Navin, Jasmine Robertson, Tom Navin, Kate Holloway and Lauren Winter.
Assistant Head and Head of Sixth Form, Debs Rayner, added “Well done to everyone involved, including the teaching and support staff who have worked tirelessly to support the students. It has been a tough 2 years, but throughout, students and staff have remained positive and focussed, it has been a real team effort, and they have been rewarded with these excellent results”
