J.P.Morgan – Virtual Events
We are excited to announce that we will be running J.P. Morgan Summer of Learning series of digital learning sessions for students this summer again!
Last year, in response to the unique circumstances we faced, we wanted to ensure that students were not missing out on key career readiness sessions as well as business insights, and with this in mind we decided to launch J.P. Morgan Summer of Learning.
Through these digital sessions we will offer students opportunities to learn useful professional skills as well as career readiness hints and tips. The sessions would be most beneficial for school leavers in the UK who are looking to explore apprenticeship opportunities, however anyone interested can register for the sessions.
Below you can find details of the sessions that we will be running once a week, commencing the 29th July.
We kindly ask you to please share registration details below with your student network:
|29th July 4-5pm||Who are J.P.Morgan?||At J.P. Morgan we want everyone’s voices to be heard. That’s why we have over 200 Business Resource Groups (BRGs) with more than 110,000 members. They build and foster networking communities and advance the firm’s commitment to diversity and community involvement. Join representatives from some of our BRGs to learn more about the people at J.P.Morgan.||Register Here|

Attend this session where our apprentices will share some insights about their work life and how they found the transition from school to the office. Find out how they are managing to work and study for their university degree at the same time and much more! At the end of the session you will have a chance to ask questions to some of our current apprentices .||Register Here|
|Technology; Skills & Opportunities||Interested in Technology, but don’t know where to start? In this session we will tell you about the many tech roles that we have at J.P. Morgan. We will help you understand what areas within tech there are (it is not all about coding) and we will tell you how you can start your journey without having any previous experience in technology.||Tbc|
|Look Into the Future; Video Interview Skills||Recruitment processes have changed dramatically as technology advances. One of the key changes is the replacement of the traditional telephone interview with a self-recorded video interview. In this session we will share some tips on how to prepare for recorded video interviews, including some do’s and dont’s.||Tbc|
|How did I get here? Inspirational Stories||Get inspired – for this session we will invite J.P. Morgan employees who will share stories about their journey with you. Don’t miss the chance to ask questions!||Tbc|
