Coronovirus update

Dear Parent/Carer

The latest Government advice is that if your child has visited any Category 1 country in the last 14 days (northern Italy/regions of China/Iran/South Korea) then you should keep them off school and self isolate for 14 days – even if they are feeling well at the moment – and you should then contact the NHS on 111. If your child has visited a Category 2 country then you should self isolate only if they are feeling unwell and contact the NHS on 111 – there is no need to do this if they are not feeling unwell. Here is a link to Category 2 countries

As a school we are fortunate that we did not have any school trips over the half term break that visited any of the areas in Category 1 or Category 2 areas.

This is clearly a changing situation and we will keep you up to date with any information that we receive.

Your sincerely
