Comic Relief Day

On Friday, students wore red and donated £1 (and sometimes more!) to help support Comic Relief. Charity Prefects collected over £300 in donations.

The charity does a wide range of work, including donating meals to struggling families in the UK, helping healthcare workers reach remote places in Africa and buying warm clothing for refugees. They help communities with youth groups, one-to-one therapy sessions and more. Comic Relief also donates to smaller charities which aren’t as well known, so that they can make a difference to their local communities.

Dean Caswell, Year 8, was the winner of our online joke competition:
What school subject is the fruitiest?
History because it’s full of dates!

Dean won the delicious box of Chococo chocolates, kindly donated by the company itself.

Thank you to everyone who took part!
