Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

The Purbeck School WiFi network is available for Sixth Form students and staff to use with their own devices (BYOD).  All internet traffic on The Purbeck School WiFi network also passes through Smoothwall, to ensure users receive the same level of web filtering that they would on any school network connected device.

For this to work as smoothly as possible, your device may require an additional certificate authority to avoid problems with HTTPS sites, in particular those with HSTS or HTTPS certificate pinning.
